BIPOC Think Tanks

YOU’RE INVITED! Organizers, legislators, artists, residents, trailblazers, and everyone in between—join Urban Homeworks on Friday 7/28, Friday 8/25, or Friday 9/22 from 9am – 2pm for building and connection at our second-annual BIPOC Think Tanks!

Urban Homeworks’ BIPOC Think Tanks are a chance for BIPOC leaders and community members in and around housing justice to come together and dream, collaborate, and ideate what a just housing ecosystem could look like. We’ll take the day to cultivate relationships with each other, jam to good tunes, and facilitate conversations around justice opportunities and barriers—all while getting our hands dirty to create a dignified, affordable home. No experience is necessary and all tools and training will be provided onsite. All abilities and bodies are welcome—we hope to see you there!

This year we will cement our work with a Cross-Pollination Celebration in November for all attendees of our BIPOC Think Tanks. At this fall celebration, we’ll have a chance to gather around a meal and transform our summer learnings into new Twin Cities realities.

Please use the form below to signup and complete all volunteer waivers. We want YOU there, signup soon to save your spot!
